Renesas is seeking a Staff Analog Engineer for our Chandler, Arizona facility to lead the design and technical strategy of power management products. This full-time position offers the opportunity to influence chip architecture and guide complex analog circuits through production at a world-leading semiconductor manufacturer.

About the Role

As a Staff Analog Engineer at Renesas, you'll hold a critical technical leadership role in the power management product division. You'll interpret system requirements and drive circuit design strategy across major functional blocks, ensuring designs meet stringent performance targets while achieving production timelines.

What You'll Do

  • Define and execute design strategy for CMOS power management circuits, balancing performance, area, power consumption, and schedule constraints
  • Lead design, simulation, and layout supervision for complex analog circuit blocks from specification through production release
  • Interpret technical requirements and translate them into robust system and design architecture
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering team members
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including digital design, physical design, verification, and manufacturing engineering
  • Ensure designs meet manufacturing requirements and support yield optimization in production
  • Drive technical problem-solving for circuit performance, reliability, and manufacturability challenges

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of analog circuit design experience in power management or similar domains
  • Deep expertise in CMOS analog design, simulation tools, and layout practices
  • Proven track record of leading analog design projects from concept to production
  • Strong understanding of circuit-level performance tradeoffs and system-level design constraints
  • Experience with design for manufacturability and working with fab processes
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to drive consensus across technical teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred
