CNIC N6 Information System Security Engineer – (Naples, Italy)

Serco seeks an Information System Security Engineer to join our Defense team in Naples, Italy. As a Full-Time CNIC N6 Security professional, you'll design and implement security controls, manage compliance, and strengthen the security posture of mission-critical systems.

About the Role

The Information System Security Engineer at Serco provides comprehensive security oversight for complex infrastructure supporting our CNIC program. You'll work at the intersection of security engineering, operations, and program management, ensuring systems meet stringent federal security standards while delivering business objectives.

What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls and configurations
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analysis
• Manage system compliance and accreditation processes
• Respond to security incidents and lead remediation efforts
• Develop security requirements and recommendations aligned with business process improvements
• Coordinate with engineering and operations teams on security hardening and optimization
• Provide security training and awareness support to technical staff

What We're Looking For

• Active Secret clearance or eligibility to obtain one
• CISSP, Security+, or equivalent security certification
• 5+ years of information system security or cybersecurity experience
• Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and federal security standards
• Experience with risk management and vulnerability assessment methodologies
• Strong technical writing and communication abilities
