Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst

Waystar is hiring a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Cedar Pass, Utah County team. In this full-time position, you'll analyze sales and operational data to generate strategic insights that guide leadership decisions and help drive improved outcomes for the healthcare providers we serve.

About the Role

As Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst at Waystar, you'll be central to our analytics function, partnering with leadership across the organization to unlock the business intelligence needed for informed decision-making. Your analysis will directly influence strategic direction, sales strategy, and operational efficiency—impacting the healthcare organizations we support.

What You'll Do

• Analyze complex sales and operational datasets to identify patterns, trends, and business opportunities
• Design and build reports and dashboards that translate data into actionable intelligence for stakeholders
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define analytics requirements and establish success metrics
• Investigate business questions and deliver data-driven insights that inform strategic decisions
• Maintain data quality standards and document analytical methodologies and assumptions
• Present findings and recommendations to leadership and business partners in clear, compelling formats

What We're Looking For

• Advanced proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and statistical analysis methods
• Demonstrated experience working with large, complex datasets and extracting meaningful business insights
• Proven ability to design and build reports and dashboards for business stakeholders
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Healthcare or healthcare technology industry experience is a plus
