Gary Yeomans Ford Ocala is hiring a full-time Auto Transmission Technician to join our service team in Maricamp, Marion County. If you have hands-on transmission experience and want to work in a well-equipped, climate-controlled shop with steady, high-volume work, we want to hear from you.

About the Role

We're a Ford dealership experiencing strong demand for transmission service and repair work. As an Auto Transmission Tech, you'll diagnose, service, and repair automatic transmissions in a modern facility designed for efficiency and technician comfort. This is a full-time position perfect for someone who thrives when there's consistent work on the bench and wants to advance their skills alongside experienced colleagues.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose transmission problems using specialized equipment and testing procedures
• Perform transmission rebuilds, overhauls, and component repairs
• Service and maintain automatic transmissions to manufacturer specifications
• Troubleshoot transmission shifting, fluid, and hydraulic system issues
• Document work performed and maintain accurate service records
• Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to resolve customer concerns

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience working on automatic transmissions—required
• Knowledge of transmission systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques
• Ability to use specialized transmission equipment and tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Reliable, team-oriented work ethic
• Relevant technical certifications a plus
