About the Role
ALTO is reimagining on-demand transportation by combining gig flexibility with professional standards. As a Gig Driver, you'll operate a modern company vehicle to provide reliable, courteous service across Orange County neighborhoods. This full-time role pairs the independence of gig work with the stability and support of a structured platform, using ALTO's technology to manage routes, communicate with passengers, and optimize your earning potential.
What You'll Do
- Execute safe, punctual pickups and drop-offs in assigned service zones
- Maintain professional hospitality standards throughout every passenger interaction
- Manage luggage, packages, and passenger comfort with attention to detail
- Navigate using ALTO's integrated app and in-vehicle routing system
- Communicate with passengers via app messaging and in-car technology
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to safety protocols and company driving standards on every trip
What We're Looking For
- Valid US driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background screening and motor vehicle history review
- Comfort navigating Orange County and managing multiple passenger requests daily
- Strong communication skills and genuine interest in passenger satisfaction
- Reliability and punctuality as a core professional trait
- Familiarity with mobile apps and GPS navigation
- Physical ability to assist passengers and manage luggage safely
