Marksman Security
Marksman Security is hiring a Retail Security Dispatch Officer to manage emergency response and coordinate security personnel across our Las Vegas, Clark County operations. This is a full-time position with a company recognized by USA Today as a Top Workplace in both 2024 and 2025.
About the Role
As our Retail Security Dispatch Officer, you'll be the nerve center of our security operations, directing rapid response to incidents at retail properties and commercial clients throughout the region. You'll communicate with field officers, assess situations in real time, and make critical decisions that protect assets and people. Working in our operations center, you'll gain direct insight into how Marksman Security maintains trusted partnerships with some of the nation's largest retail brands and properties.
What You'll Do
- Receive and prioritize emergency and non-emergency calls from retail locations and security personnel
- Dispatch qualified officers and resources to incidents with clear, authoritative direction
- Monitor radio communications and maintain situational awareness across all active assignments
- Document incidents, response actions, and outcomes in our dispatch system with accuracy and attention to detail
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
- Handle routine inquiries from clients and provide professional customer service during high-pressure situations
- Maintain equipment, radio systems, and communication tools in proper working order
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in dispatch, emergency services, security, or a related field
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
- Ability to stay calm and make sound decisions under pressure
- Proficiency with computer systems and dispatch software
- Reliable transportation and ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Commitment to customer service and teamwork
