About the Role

We're looking for a motivated attorney ready to expand their civil litigation practice in a collaborative St. Louis-area law firm. You'll gain exposure to varied client matters, develop your expertise across different practice areas, and work on cases that challenge and grow your legal skills.

What You'll Do

• Represent clients in civil litigation matters, handling cases from initial consultation through resolution
• Work on both plaintiff and defense representations, managing case strategy and legal arguments
• Conduct discovery, depositions, document review, and trial preparation
• Research legal issues, draft motions, briefs, and pleadings
• Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout case management
• Collaborate with firm attorneys on matters spanning business law, corporate transactions, and tax-related disputes

What We're Looking For

• Juris Doctor and active license to practice law
• Substantive civil litigation experience or related practice background
• Strong legal writing and research capabilities
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively
• Professional judgment and excellent communication skills
• Interest in developing expertise across business, corporate, and tax law
