Musical Accompanist – Piano

San Juan College seeks a Part-Time Musical Accompanist – Piano in Farmington, New Mexico. This Fixed-Term Adjunct Faculty position compensates at $25 per hour (non-exempt) and provides piano accompaniment for rehearsals, performances, and instructional sessions throughout the semester.

About the Role

As a Musical Accompanist, you'll provide essential piano accompaniment and support to San Juan College's music education and performance initiatives. Working with faculty, students, and ensembles across the semester, you'll be a key collaborator in the college's artistic life.

What You'll Do

• Provide skilled piano accompaniment for vocal and instrumental rehearsals and performances
• Collaborate with music faculty, students, and ensembles to support their artistic development
• Sight-read and learn scores independently and efficiently
• Support music instruction and student learning through accompaniment services
• Participate in college recitals, performances, and special events
• Demonstrate versatility and professionalism across musical genres and styles
