Rise Technical Recruitment is recruiting an HVAC Project Manager in Maryland Heights, Saint Louis County, to lead complex mechanical systems projects while developing toward a senior management role. About the Role
You'll take ownership of mid-to-large-scale HVAC projects, directing technical teams and managing all phases from planning through commissioning. This is your opportunity to demonstrate project leadership while building the operational and business skills required for advancement into director responsibilities.
What You'll Do
- Oversee HVAC installation, service, and retrofit projects from scope definition through final delivery
- Plan schedules, budgets, and resource deployment to meet timelines and client specifications
- Direct installation crews and service technicians across multiple concurrent projects
- Collaborate with facility managers, contractors, and equipment vendors to resolve technical challenges
- Track labor hours, material costs, and project profitability to optimize performance
- Develop client relationships on long-term, complex engagements
- Participate in project estimating and business development initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Project management background in HVAC, mechanical contracting, or related construction trades
- Solid working knowledge of HVAC systems, installation methods, and commissioning procedures
- Experience directing field teams and coordinating with multiple vendors
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated success delivering projects within budget and schedule
- Leadership mindset with genuine interest in advancing into senior roles
