About the Role
As Assistant Superintendent for our Boston-based construction operations, you will partner with the Project Superintendent to ensure smooth day-to-day execution on complex building projects. You'll be instrumental in coordinating teams, maintaining quality standards, and keeping projects on schedule and within budget across the Boston metro area.
What You'll Do
- Support the Superintendent in planning and executing construction schedules across multiple project phases
- Coordinate with trade contractors, inspectors, and building officials to maintain project momentum and compliance
- Monitor quality of work and materials to ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and industry standards
- Conduct regular site inspections and document project progress, safety conditions, and potential issues
- Assist in tracking project budgets, labor costs, and material expenses
- Support safety program implementation and maintain a culture of continuous improvement on site
- Communicate project updates and changes to stakeholders and internal teams
What We're Looking For
- Current or recent experience in construction supervision or assistant superintendent roles
- Working knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, plans, and specifications
- Proficiency with construction management software and MS Office applications
- A commitment to safety, quality, and professional development in the construction field
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for Boston-area jobsites
