Join Hearth & Home Technologies as a Production Group Leader for Pipe operations in Mount Pleasant, Henry County. We're seeking an experienced leader to supervise our first-shift production team and drive operational excellence in our manufacturing facility.
About the Role
As Production Group Leader for our Pipe division on the 1st shift, you'll lead a team responsible for manufacturing quality pipe products. This is a full-time, direct-hire position based in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, with a schedule of 6:00 AM to 4:20 PM, Monday through Thursday, plus overtime as operational needs require. Your starting pay is $23.00 per hour.
What You'll Do
- Supervise and mentor production team members on the first shift
- Oversee daily pipe manufacturing operations and production targets
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain a compliant work environment
- Monitor product quality and drive continuous improvement
- Coordinate scheduling and allocate resources for your production group
- Report production metrics and team performance to management
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience leading production teams in a manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of pipe production processes or equivalent manufacturing background
- Strong communication and team leadership abilities
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
- Availability for the 6:00 AM – 4:20 PM shift schedule, Monday through Thursday
