Join Extra Space Storage as an Assistant Store Manager in East Syracuse, Onondaga County. In this full-time position, you'll play a key role supporting the daily operations of our storage facilities while working day shifts in a stable, customer-focused environment.
About the Role
The Assistant Store Manager position offers meaningful management experience at Extra Space Storage's East Syracuse location and surrounding district properties. Reporting to the Store Manager and District Manager, you'll contribute to smooth facility operations, strong customer relationships, and a well-maintained storage environment. With office hours through 6 p.m., you'll have structured day shifts while supporting the evolving needs of our customer base.
What You'll Do
- Support daily operations and help drive customer satisfaction at assigned storage facilities
- Assist with tenant inquiries, move-ins, access issues, and account management
- Maintain facility appearance, cleanliness, and security standards
- Help coordinate team schedules and provide supportive supervision as needed
- Handle cash transactions, deposits, and basic administrative tasks
- Support multiple storage locations throughout the East Syracuse district as operational needs require
What We're Looking For
- Proven customer service experience, preferably with supervisory or management responsibilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfort with point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications
- Flexibility to work across multiple locations within the district
- Dependable, organized, and team-oriented work style

Compensation & Schedule
