Kellton is seeking a full-time Middle Office Operations Analyst for our Denver, Colorado securities services team. In this onsite role, you'll manage critical operational workflows that keep trading operations running smoothly.
About the Role
As a Middle Office Operations Analyst focused on securities services at Kellton in Glendale, Denver, you'll work at the intersection of trading and accounting—capturing, validating, and processing securities trades with precision and speed. This is a 12-month full-time position where you'll ensure every trade flows seamlessly from execution through settlement and into the general ledger.
What You'll Do
- Capture and validate incoming trade data from multiple sources and trading platforms
- Perform trade matching and reconciliation to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Manage the complete trade settlement lifecycle—from initiation through final accounting entry
- Integrate settled trades into the general accounting system with accuracy and compliance
- Process corporate actions, dividend distributions, and other security lifecycle events
- Configure and maintain security master data in the accounting and operations systems
- Monitor operational metrics and flag exceptions for resolution
- Support month-end and quarter-end closing processes as needed
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience in middle office operations, trade operations, or securities services
- Strong proficiency with securities trade lifecycle, settlement procedures, and accounting integration
- Working knowledge of securities operations platforms, accounting software, or trade management systems
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze operational data and create reports
- Clear communication skills and ability to partner with trading, settlement, and accounting teams
- Experience with equities operations or similar financial services operations strongly preferred
Position Details
This is a full-time position based onsite in Glendale, Denver, Colorado. The role runs for 12 months and requires candidates to work onsite during regular business hours.
