About the Role

As Business Unit Finance Manager for Hauling, you'll own the financial health of your business unit, translating complex financial data into actionable strategies that support growth and operational excellence. This is a hands-on finance leadership position that requires both analytical rigor and business acumen—you'll work at the intersection of finance, operations, and strategy to ensure Republic Services continues to lead the waste management and hauling industry.

What You'll Do

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and modeling activities for assigned markets and business units
• Develop comprehensive budgets and monitor performance against targets throughout the fiscal year
• Provide strategic decision support to general managers and executive leadership through financial analysis and reporting
• Drive financial rigor across all budgeting processes, forecasts, and strategic initiatives
• Analyze market conditions, cost structures, and operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial plans with operational and commercial strategies

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• Proven experience in financial management, business analysis, or financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
• Strong proficiency with financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting tools
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with business intelligence or financial systems
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable business recommendations
