About the Role

Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc., part of EMCOR Group Inc, is seeking an experienced Business Developer to expand our presence across North Carolina and neighboring states. This full-time position is based in our Greensboro office and offers the opportunity to identify new clients, cultivate long-term partnerships, and contribute to the continued expansion of our services in the industrial and manufacturing markets.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities in manufacturing, industrial, and related sectors
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, facility managers, and procurement professionals at target accounts
• Conduct site visits and market research throughout North Carolina and surrounding states to assess client needs and competitive opportunities
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and technical documentation to support sales initiatives
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and project management teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction
• Track market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform business strategy
• Manage sales pipelines and provide regular forecasting and activity reporting to leadership

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management within industrial, manufacturing, or construction services
• Strong understanding of industrial services such as installation, rigging, millwrighting, and maintenance
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to travel regularly throughout the region to meet clients and attend industry events
• Experience developing and closing contracts with corporate and industrial clients
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple opportunities simultaneously
• Familiarity with CRM systems and sales management tools
