Aldetec is hiring an RF Engineer for our Long Island, Sacramento County office. This full-time position offers hands-on experience designing, implementing, and validating radio frequency systems and components.
About the Role
As an RF Engineer at Aldetec, you'll contribute to the development and refinement of radiofrequency solutions. Working from our Long Island facility in Sacramento County, you'll engage directly with circuit design, component selection, and system validation—building practical expertise in a field where precision and technical depth drive career growth.
What You'll Do
- Build and test RF building blocks including filters, couplers, and matching networks according to established design specifications
- Translate schematic designs into functional prototypes and validate performance against engineering requirements
- Support circuit characterization, troubleshooting, and optimization across the RF engineering workflow
- Document test results, design decisions, and technical findings for internal engineering teams
- Collaborate with senior engineers to refine RF architectures and identify areas for improvement
What We're Looking For
- Foundation in RF theory, circuit design, or electromagnetics (degree or equivalent hands-on experience)
- Practical familiarity with RF components, measurement tools, and standard schematic interpretation
- Strong attention to detail and methodical approach to testing and validation
- Ability to document work clearly and communicate technical findings to team members
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to expand technical skills on the job
