Welder 2nd shift

About the Role

Working the 2nd shift, you'll follow blueprints to set up, fixture, and weld components with precision. Your expertise in metallurgy and welding processes will directly impact product quality and performance. You'll maintain quality standards throughout every shift, ensuring each weld meets specifications.

What You'll Do

• Read and interpret blueprints to prepare welding setups with appropriate fixtures and positioning
• Adjust welder settings and parameters based on the metallurgical properties of the materials being welded
• Perform welding operations using proper techniques to achieve sound, high-quality welds
• Operate hand grinders and finishing equipment to complete and prepare welded joints
• Inspect completed work and fixtures throughout the shift to verify quality standards and product appearance
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment

• Hands-on experience with welding equipment and processes
• Ability to read and follow technical blueprints accurately
