Becton Dickinson & Company is seeking a full-time Product Manager, Global Marketing in Irvine, Orange County to develop market strategies and drive product growth across our global portfolio.
About the Role
As a Product Manager for Global Marketing at Becton Dickinson, you will shape how our medical technology solutions reach healthcare providers and patients worldwide. You'll synthesize market insights, competitive dynamics, and customer needs to inform product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy. This role bridges product development and commercial execution, requiring both strategic vision and hands-on execution across multiple geographies and customer segments.
What You'll Do
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and inform product strategy
- Develop comprehensive go-to-market plans, including positioning, messaging, pricing, and launch timelines
- Collaborate with product development, sales, regulatory, and field teams to ensure product-market fit and successful commercialization
- Create marketing campaigns, sales collateral, and customer communication materials that drive awareness and adoption
- Monitor market performance, track key metrics, and adjust strategies based on data and customer feedback
- Manage product portfolio roadmaps and lifecycle decisions across global markets
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to navigate market dynamics and customer requirements
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, healthcare, life sciences, or related field
- 4+ years of product management, marketing, or commercial experience in medical technology, healthcare, or related industries
- Proven ability to develop and execute market strategies that drive revenue and competitive advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in market research and data interpretation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities across technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with global product launches and cross-functional team collaboration
