As an Environmental Porter at Larkin Community Hospital in South Miami, Miami-Dade County, you'll maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and environmental safety throughout our facilities. What You'll Do

• Collect, sort, and properly dispose of waste and recyclable materials according to environmental and healthcare regulations
• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and facility spaces using appropriate equipment and chemicals
• Maintain and replenish cleaning supplies and materials throughout assigned areas
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Respond promptly to cleanliness concerns and maintenance requests from staff
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental protocols at all times
• Support Larkin's commitment to sustainable and environmentally responsible practices

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Detail-oriented with strong attention to cleanliness standards
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation, and waste management
• Reliable, professional attitude with strong work ethic
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Physical stamina and the ability to work independently
• Prior environmental services or janitorial experience is a plus
