Direct Support Professional

Sevita is hiring a Full-Time Direct Support Professional in Guasti, San Bernardino County. In this role, you'll provide hands-on support and mentorship to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them build independence, develop new skills, and participate meaningfully in community life.

As a Direct Support Professional at Sevita's Guasti location, you'll work directly with individuals receiving community-based services. What You'll Do

• Provide direct support with daily living activities, personal care, and household management
• Assist individuals in developing and practicing life skills that promote independence
• Support community participation and help people engage in activities that matter to them
• Build trusting relationships and communicate openly with the individuals you support and their families
• Maintain accurate records and share observations and progress updates with your team
• Help coordinate transportation and maintain safety across all environments
• Partner with supervisors, colleagues, and support networks to ensure consistent, quality care

What We're Looking For

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliability and flexibility for full-time work
• Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to obtain required certifications and complete onboarding training
• Ability to pass criminal background clearance as required by state regulations
