About the Role

As a Mental Health Social Practitioner at Fountain House, you'll be part of a collaborative team dedicated to helping members reclaim agency, build skills, and achieve their personal goals. You'll work alongside members and colleagues in a recovery-focused setting, contributing to employment, education, and wellness initiatives that members themselves help design and lead.

What You'll Do

• Provide individualized support and mentorship to members navigating mental health recovery and community integration
• Facilitate groups, workshops, and skill-building activities across employment, education, and wellness programs
• Connect members with community resources, services, and opportunities aligned with their aspirations
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships based on trust and mutual respect
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate member care and program delivery
• Contribute to a welcoming, inclusive environment that honors members' dignity and potential
• Document member progress, outcomes, and engagement in accordance with program standards

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Demonstrated commitment to supporting individuals with serious mental illness
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across diverse populations
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting
• Flexibility, resilience, and genuine enthusiasm for recovery-centered practice
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred)
