General Manager-Intermediates

Solstice Advanced Materials is seeking a General Manager-Intermediates to lead our Hydrogen Fluoride segment from our Morris Plains, Morris County headquarters. In this full-time leadership role, you'll drive strategic execution and operational excellence across a critical business unit serving global customers.

About the Role

You'll oversee the Hydrogen Fluoride (HF) business segment, owning both strategic vision and day-to-day execution. Reporting to the Vice President of Building Solutions, Intermediates and Healthcare, you'll develop and implement our global Strategic Plan (STRAP) alongside the Annual Operating Plan (AOP). This leadership position combines profit accountability with hands-on team leadership, requiring you to balance market development, operational performance, and organizational growth.

What You'll Do

• Drive execution of strategic and operating plans aligned with corporate goals and market opportunities
• Lead the Hydrogen Fluoride business through market expansion, competitive positioning, and sustainable growth
• Manage P&L responsibility, working capital, and capital allocation for the segment
• Build and develop a talented management team across operations, sales, technical, and business functions
• Establish customer relationships and market strategies that strengthen competitive advantage
• Ensure operational excellence in manufacturing, quality, safety, and compliance
• Collaborate with peers across Building Solutions and Healthcare divisions on cross-functional initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated success managing a P&L in chemicals, advanced materials, specialty manufacturing, or related industries
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans in complex, competitive markets
• Strong track record building and leading high-performing teams
• Commercial expertise in driving both growth and operational efficiency
• Experience in Hydrogen Fluoride, chemical intermediates, or specialty chemicals preferred
• Excellent leadership and communication skills across all organizational levels
