What You'll Do
- Assist senior researchers and scientists with data collection, organization, and preliminary analysis
- Support animal behavior observation and welfare assessment studies
- Help maintain research databases and ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Prepare research materials, reports, and presentations for internal and external audiences
- Conduct literature reviews and summarize scientific findings relevant to conservation initiatives
- Collaborate with husbandry and veterinary teams to support applied research projects
- Assist with fieldwork, specimen handling, and research logistics as needed
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in biology, zoology, environmental science, animal behavior, or related field
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with spreadsheet software and basic data analysis
- Genuine passion for animal conservation and zoo science
- Physical ability to work in varied environments, including animal care areas
