About the Role
This full-time, on-site position centers on the operation and maintenance of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) equipped with CNC controls. You'll be responsible for precision inspections and dimensional verification of manufactured parts and assemblies, ensuring they meet engineering specifications. Your work is essential to our quality control process and directly impacts customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Operate and program CNC-controlled Coordinate Measuring Machines for accurate part inspection and dimensional verification
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
- Set up CMM equipment and measurement parameters based on part requirements
- Conduct detailed inspections on precision-manufactured parts and assemblies
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on CMM systems
- Document inspection results and generate accurate quality reports
- Communicate measurement findings to production and quality teams
- Maintain compliance with company quality standards and procedures
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience operating Coordinate Measuring Machines in manufacturing
- Competency in reading engineering drawings and understanding GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Demonstrated ability with CMM programming and setup procedures
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to measurement accuracy
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Clear communication and documentation abilities
- Dependable work ethic and consistent attendance
