Senior Negotiator

Elite Sourcing is hiring a Senior Negotiator to join a prominent personal injury law practice in Costa Mesa, Orange County. This full-time position offers the opportunity to drive case resolutions and protect client interests through strategic advocacy and skilled settlement negotiations.

About the Role

You'll be the lead negotiator on complex personal injury cases, working directly with attorneys, paralegals, and insurance representatives to secure favorable settlements. Your deep understanding of personal injury law, combined with your persuasion and deal-making acumen, will be central to every negotiation. This role demands someone who can analyze liability, assess damages, and present compelling arguments under pressure—all while maintaining professional relationships across the legal ecosystem.

What You'll Do

• Conduct settlement negotiations with opposing counsel and insurance adjusters on personal injury claims
• Review case files, medical records, liability assessments, and damages calculations to build negotiation strategy
• Communicate settlement terms and recommendations clearly to clients and supervising attorneys
• Draft and review settlement agreements and demand packages
• Represent the firm's interests in mediation sessions and settlement conferences
• Track case status, timelines, and negotiation progress for trial readiness
• Build and maintain professional relationships with insurance carriers and opposing counsel

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of negotiation experience in personal injury law or a related litigation practice
• Proven track record securing favorable settlements and case resolutions
• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to persuade and influence
• In-depth knowledge of personal injury law, tort liability, and insurance practices
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and case management
• Professional demeanor; ability to remain calm and effective under deadline pressure
• Familiarity with legal software and case management systems is a plus
