Acquisition Specialist with Security Clearance

About the Role

As an Acquisition Specialist with Security Clearance, you will play a key role in managing the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) acquisition lifecycle. Working on a Professional Services contract with the Program Executive Officer (PEO) Services Directorate, you will contribute directly to vital national defense capabilities. Your expertise in DoD acquisition procedures and compliance will be essential to mission success.

What You'll Do

• Execute acquisition planning and management in accordance with DoD Business Capability Acquisition Cycle (BCAC) procedures
• Support compliance with DoD Instruction 5000.02 and applicable federal acquisition regulations
• Coordinate with stakeholders across defense organizations to gather and document acquisition requirements
• Manage acquisition documentation, submissions, and milestone tracking
• Assist in budget planning, cost estimation, and contract administration
• Support proposal development and response to contracting opportunities
• Ensure audit readiness and maintain compliance records for all acquisition activities

What We're Looking For

• Active Top Secret or Secret security clearance, or eligibility to obtain one
• Demonstrated experience with DoD acquisition processes and procedures
• Strong working knowledge of BCAC, DoD Instruction 5000.02, and federal acquisition regulations
• Excellent organizational and technical writing skills
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with DoD personnel and contractors
• Knowledge of contracting best practices and procurement principles
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain management, or related field preferred
