Gpac is seeking an experienced Attorney specializing in Employment Law to join our Stockton, San Joaquin County office on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled legal professional to work directly with clients on significant employment matters while building a strong practice within the San Joaquin County legal community.
About the Role
As an Employment Law Attorney at Gpac, you will serve as a trusted legal advisor for clients navigating complex workplace issues. This position offers the chance to handle diverse employment law matters, from representation in legal proceedings to providing strategic counsel on workplace compliance and employee relations challenges.
What You'll Do
- Represent clients in employment-related legal proceedings and negotiations
- Provide comprehensive legal advice on employment matters, workplace policies, and regulatory compliance issues
- Draft and review employment contracts, severance agreements, and other employment-related legal documents
- Conduct detailed legal research and analysis on employment law issues affecting client operations
- Counsel clients on discrimination, harassment, wage and hour concerns, and other employment law matters
- Maintain strong client relationships and manage case files with attention to detail and professionalism
What We're Looking For
- Licensed attorney in good standing with expertise or strong background in employment law
- Proven experience representing clients in employment-related disputes and legal matters
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical capabilities
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
- Sound professional judgment and commitment to delivering quality legal counsel
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a legal team
