Hilltop Children's Center is hiring a full-time Early Childhood Educator - Lead in Liberty Hill, Williamson County. Join our small, family-centered program as a Texas Rising Star provider and make a direct impact on young learners' development and school readiness.
About the Role
You'll lead classroom experiences in a supportive, relationship-focused environment where quality early education and social-emotional development go hand in hand. This leadership position allows you to shape day-to-day learning, mentor younger staff members, and model the best practices our families expect from Hilltop Children's Center.
What You'll Do
- Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that support cognitive, social, and emotional growth
- Observe and document individual child progress, informing instructional adjustments and family conversations
- Establish and maintain consistent classroom routines, transitions, and positive behavior expectations
- Build strong partnerships with families through regular communication and transparency about their child's experiences
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe classroom space and manage daily materials and documentation
- Collaborate with teaching partners and support staff to ensure a cohesive team approach
- Model professionalism, patience, and genuine care as a lead educator
What We're Looking For
- Genuine passion for working with young children and commitment to their wellbeing
- Reliable, professional presence with strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Clean background check
- Prior early childhood experience valued but not required
