Bloomington ISD is actively recruiting certified Elementary Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time position teaching grades 3-6 at Bloomington Elementary, located in the United States. Bloomington ISD welcomes teachers with EC-6 or 4-8 grade band certification to join our school community.
About the Role
As an Elementary Teacher with Bloomington ISD, you'll lead daily instruction for students in grades 3 through 6. This full-time role focuses on delivering standards-aligned, engaging lessons that support student growth across core subject areas.
What You'll Do
- Develop and deliver grade-appropriate, standards-based instruction in core subjects
- Monitor student progress and differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues, families, and specialists to support student success
- Utilize research-based teaching strategies and educational materials
- Maintain detailed records and communicate student progress to families
What We're Looking For
- Valid EC-6 or 4-8 grade band teaching certification
- Experience or readiness to teach elementary students in grades 3-6
- Strong commitment to student achievement and equity
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt instruction for different learning styles
- Collaborative approach to working with students, families, and staff
Certification Stipends: Bloomington ISD provides annual stipends for certified teachers in targeted subject areas who teach within their credential field. Eligible positions include Certified Mathematics Teachers, Science Teachers, English Language Arts Teachers, and Special Education Teachers.
