Apparel Team Supervisor

About the Role

As Apparel Team Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations of the apparel department, ensuring both the sales floor and stockroom reflect Walmart's high standards for organization, presentation, and customer service. You'll work directly with your team to achieve sales goals, maintain inventory accuracy, and create an engaging shopping experience that keeps customers coming back.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of apparel associates, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback
• Oversee merchandise displays, pricing, and inventory management to maximize visual appeal and sales
• Schedule team members, monitor attendance, and ensure adequate coverage during all operating hours
• Manage stock receiving, placement, and organization to optimize floor space and customer accessibility
• Monitor team performance against department goals and implement strategies to drive results
• Resolve customer issues and complaints with professionalism and a focus on satisfaction
• Maintain compliance with Walmart policies, safety standards, and company procedures
• Communicate effectively with store management and other departments to support store operations

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in retail supervision or a similar leadership role in apparel or related department
• Strong ability to manage and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced retail environment
• Excellent organizational and inventory management skills
• Proficiency with retail systems and point-of-sale (POS) equipment
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Passion for visual merchandising and creating appealing product displays
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
