About the Role
As our HVAC Supervisor, you'll serve as the primary technical resource for all heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and mechanical systems at our facility. This working supervisor position bridges frontline leadership and direct technical work—you'll spend time in the field troubleshooting and executing repairs while overseeing a maintenance team. You'll manage daily operations, coordinate preventive maintenance schedules, respond to system emergencies, and ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards.
What You'll Do
- Supervise and mentor HVAC technicians and maintenance staff on daily assignments
- Diagnose and resolve HVAC and mechanical system issues, performing hands-on repairs when needed
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to maximize equipment lifespan and minimize downtime
- Coordinate emergency response for heating, cooling, and critical mechanical failures
- Track maintenance inventory, equipment performance, and work logs
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and company standards
- Train team members on equipment operation, safety procedures, and best practices
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or in a similar mechanical maintenance role
- HVAC certification or equivalent hands-on expertise with commercial systems
- Demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of building mechanical systems, controls, and maintenance protocols
- Excellent communication and ability to work effectively with diverse teams
