CDL A Owner Operator Truck Driver

Own your trucking business with CRST. We're recruiting experienced CDL A owner-operators to haul specialty freight nationwide from our Gresham, Multnomah County hub. In this full-time independent contractor role, you'll build a profitable operation while maintaining complete control over your loads, schedule, and time at home.

About the Role

CRST Specialized Solutions partners with owner-operators who want to operate as independent business owners rather than traditional employees. You'll gain access to consistent, profitable specialty freight loads while retaining full autonomy over which shipments to accept and when you work.

What You'll Do

• Transport specialized freight across the United States on routes originating from the Gresham area
• Select loads that match your business goals and scheduling preferences
• Manage your own schedule, determining how much home time you take between runs
• Maintain DOT compliance and keep your truck in operational condition
• Work collaboratively with CRST's dispatch and support teams

What We're Looking For

• Valid CDL A license with a strong driving record
• Background in specialty freight hauling (preferred)
• Entrepreneurial mindset and business acumen
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
• Self-directed work style and professional standards
