Safety-Kleen is now hiring a Driver Class B Trainee in Jackson, Cape Girardeau County to join our growing service delivery team. We'll invest in your training, including paying for your Class B Commercial Driver's License, as you launch a rewarding career in environmental services and customer sales.
About the Role
This is a full-time opportunity to become a certified Class B driver and sales-focused route specialist. You'll operate a Class B box truck serving a defined territory, delivering essential services to commercial clients and building long-term customer relationships.
What You'll Do
- Safely operate a Class B box truck throughout your assigned route in Cape Girardeau County and surrounding areas
- Perform onsite service and maintenance calls for industrial parts washer equipment at customer locations
- Collect and manage containerized hazardous waste according to safety and compliance standards
- Sell and promote Safety-Kleen products and service packages to existing and prospective customers
- Maintain accurate records, route schedules, and customer communications
- Represent Safety-Kleen professionally while building customer loyalty in your territory
What We're Looking For
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Willingness to obtain a Class B Commercial Driver's License (we cover the cost)
- Strong customer service and sales mindset
- Ability to lift and handle materials safely on customer sites
- Reliability, punctuality, and professional communication skills
- Comfort working independently on a defined route while meeting service standards
