Join Glens Falls Hospital-AHSA as a Nuclear Medicine Tech in Glens Falls, Warren County. This part-time position offers a structured 13-week assignment with a consistent day schedule (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM).
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality diagnostic imaging services. You will operate nuclear medicine equipment, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and perform imaging procedures that help clinicians diagnose and monitor patient conditions.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceutical agents to patients according to established clinical protocols
- Operate nuclear medicine imaging systems and perform SPECT, PET, and planar imaging procedures
- Position patients and equipment to achieve optimal diagnostic image quality
- Monitor patient safety, comfort, and vital signs throughout procedures
- Maintain accurate records of procedures, administered doses, and imaging data
- Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary clinical teams to ensure diagnostic accuracy
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and regulatory compliance requirements
What We're Looking For
- Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification (CNMT) or eligibility
- Active state licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Minimum 1–2 years of recent clinical nuclear medicine experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of radiation safety principles and ALARA practices
- Proficiency with nuclear medicine imaging equipment and software systems
- Strong patient communication and clinical teamwork capabilities
- Ability to maintain accuracy and focus in a dynamic healthcare environment
