About the Role
As a truck driver with Suburban Propane, you'll operate our delivery fleet and serve customers throughout Badger and surrounding communities. You'll transport propane and heating fuel safely and on schedule, representing our commitment to reliable service at every customer location. This full-time position offers steady work with a company that values driver safety and customer care.
What You'll Do
- Drive propane delivery trucks on daily routes throughout the Badger area
- Load and unload propane tanks and heating fuel products at customer locations
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain equipment safety
- Maintain delivery logs and customer records with accuracy
- Interact professionally with residential and commercial customers
- Follow all Department of Transportation regulations and company safety protocols
- Troubleshoot routine customer service issues and report concerns to management
What We're Looking For
- Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain one
- Demonstrated safe driving record
- Genuine commitment to safety practices and vehicle maintenance
- Ability to work both independently and as part of our delivery team
- Physical capability to perform loading, unloading, and outdoor duties
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to invest in ongoing professional development and training
