Director, Supply Chain Resiliency & Procurement Reconciliation

Emory is seeking a Director of Supply Chain Resiliency and Procurement Reconciliation to lead strategic sourcing, vendor partnerships, and supply chain optimization at our Vista Grove, DeKalb County location. This is a full-time leadership role where you'll drive operational excellence and build resilient procurement systems that support our mission.

About the Role

As Director of Supply Chain Resiliency and Procurement Reconciliation, you'll oversee end-to-end procurement operations and supply chain strategy. This leadership position requires you to establish frameworks that minimize disruption, optimize vendor relationships, and ensure accurate reconciliation of procurement activities across our organization.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute supply chain strategy focused on resilience, risk mitigation, and operational continuity
• Lead procurement teams and establish best practices for vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance management
• Implement systems for accurate reconciliation of purchase orders, invoices, and vendor accounts
• Analyze market conditions and supplier performance to identify cost optimization opportunities
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders to understand sourcing needs and align procurement with organizational goals
• Oversee compliance with procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical sourcing standards
• Monitor supply chain metrics and create contingency plans to address potential disruptions
• Manage budgets and track procurement spending across departments

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred; Bachelor's degree required
• 7+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, procurement, or related operations
• 3+ years in a leadership or management role overseeing procurement or supply chain functions
• Demonstrated expertise in vendor management, contract negotiation, and procurement systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in process improvement
• Proficiency with procurement software and data analysis tools
• Knowledge of supply chain risk management and business continuity planning
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience in healthcare or mission-driven organizations a plus
