About the Role
As a Field Deployment Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of environmental monitoring technology, working directly with refinery and chemical plant operators to implement continuous emissions monitoring solutions. This is a customer-facing technical role that combines field work with strategic problem-solving—turning initial pilots into long-term operational programs that create measurable value for your clients.
What You'll Do
- Deploy, commission, and troubleshoot Fenceline Monitoring systems at industrial facilities across the United States
- Conduct site assessments and technical feasibility studies to design monitoring solutions tailored to each facility's unique needs
- Train facility operators and environmental teams on system operation, data interpretation, and maintenance best practices
- Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to transition pilot deployments into full-scale production programs
- Provide ongoing technical support and system optimization for deployed solutions at customer sites
- Document deployment procedures, capture lessons learned, and contribute to continuous improvement of installation protocols
- Travel up to 70% to customer sites, with California and Texas as preferred locations across the United States
What We're Looking For
- Experience in field deployment, technical commissioning, or customer-facing technical roles within energy, chemicals, environmental monitoring, or related industries
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently at remote customer sites
- Excellent communication skills and ability to train operators on complex systems
- Comfort with travel up to 70% and willingness to work in industrial environments
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass industry security clearances
- Technical background in instrumentation, environmental science, or engineering is a plus
