About the Role

As an Electrical Installer II at ITW, you'll work independently on moderately complex electrical assembly and installation tasks. This role bridges technician and skilled tradesperson work, requiring both technical electrical knowledge and practical troubleshooting ability. You'll be trusted to handle special products alongside standard manufacturing items, applying electrical theory and precision wiring techniques in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

• Assemble and install electrical components, wiring systems, and control equipment according to detailed electrical and mechanical diagrams
• Test completed assemblies and systems using appropriate electrical testing equipment and procedures
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings to ensure accurate installation
• Troubleshoot electrical assembly problems and implement corrections with minimal guidance
• Program and configure standard electrical devices and controllers as required for specific products
• Work with both standard production items and specialized or custom electrical assemblies
• Follow safety protocols and quality standards throughout the assembly and testing process
• Maintain detailed records of assembly work, test results, and any issues encountered

What We're Looking For

• Solid working knowledge of electrical theory, wiring principles, and electrical safety practices
• Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical diagrams and technical drawings
• Experience with electrical assembly processes and basic electrical testing equipment
• Familiarity with oven theory or thermal equipment operation preferred
• Capability to work independently with moderate guidance on complex tasks

• Mechanical aptitude and comfort with hand tools and precision work
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work within established procedures
