About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Foster Care Supervisor to manage daily operations within our family services unit. You'll oversee a team of up to five professionals, ensuring quality care coordination and case management that changes lives. What You'll Do
- Direct day-to-day unit operations and manage caseload oversight across your team
- Supervise, train, and mentor up to five staff members with regular performance feedback and professional development
- Coordinate activities, case reviews, and collaborative efforts across the foster care program
- Contribute to recruitment and hiring efforts to build and maintain a capable team
- Ensure compliance with Family & Children Services standards and regulatory requirements
- Support Program Management in strategic planning and service delivery improvements
What We're Looking For
- At least two years of professional experience as a Foster Care Supervisor or in a closely related supervisory role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Knowledge of foster care systems, child welfare practices, and family services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated commitment to child welfare and family-centered practice
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet documentation standards
