MarSell Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated Case Manager to join our Foster Family Services team in Phillips Ranch, Los Angeles County. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on families' lives through strength-based, community-centered case management.
About the Role
As a Case Manager with MarSell Wellness Center, you'll serve as a vital support system for families and individuals navigating the foster care system. Working within our Foster Family Services department, you'll blend evidence-based practices with deep community knowledge to create tailored solutions that honor each family's unique strengths and circumstances.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of client and family needs, building on existing strengths and resources
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized service plans focused on family reunification, stability, and well-being
- Coordinate services across multiple providers, ensuring seamless care and clear communication
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of client progress, service delivery, and case outcomes
- Build trusting relationships with families, foster parents, and community partners
- Advocate for client needs and link families to resources including education, health, housing, and employment services
- Participate in team meetings and case consultations to ensure comprehensive, collaborative support
- Monitor client progress toward goals and adjust strategies as needed
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Strong ability to work with families from diverse backgrounds and circumstances with empathy and respect
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
- Proficiency in case management systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to manage complex caseloads and prioritize competing demands
- Commitment to a strength-based, family-driven approach to service delivery
