About the Role
Jacobs is seeking a Senior Safety Manager to oversee all aspects of occupational health, safety, and fire protection programs. In this leadership role, you'll drive the development and execution of comprehensive safety strategies, establish safety protocols and standards, and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations. You'll be instrumental in creating a culture of safety that safeguards personnel, equipment, and assets while helping our clients fulfill their commitment to community protection.
What You'll Do
- Direct the design and implementation of safety, health, and occupational health programs tailored to client needs and regulatory requirements
- Develop and manage fire protection and prevention strategies, emergency response procedures, and equipment safety protocols
- Provide expert guidance and leadership to safety teams and program stakeholders
- Monitor safety performance, conduct investigations, and recommend corrective and preventive measures
- Ensure property and equipment protection standards are maintained and enforced
- Lead safety training, audits, and compliance assessments
- Champion a proactive safety culture across all operations
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Safety Manager or similar occupational health and safety leadership role
- Deep knowledge of OSHA regulations, fire safety codes, and occupational health standards
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and administer safety programs
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence teams and management
- Experience conducting hazard assessments, investigations, and safety audits
- Professional safety certifications such as CSP or ASP preferred
