About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you'll work at the front lines of our quality control process, conducting comprehensive laboratory testing on raw materials, intermediate samples, and finished products. Your meticulous work ensures that every batch meets our stringent quality specifications and regulatory requirements before reaching customers.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine laboratory testing including pH analysis, moisture content determination, and density measurements
- Execute chemical titrations and allergen detection assays with precision and accuracy
- Test and evaluate raw materials upon receipt to verify supplier quality
- Monitor in-process samples throughout production cycles to catch any deviations early
- Analyze finished products to confirm compliance with quality specifications
- Document all testing results systematically and maintain detailed laboratory records
- Troubleshoot quality issues and collaborate with production teams on corrective actions
- Follow established Standard Operating Procedures and regulatory guidelines
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant laboratory coursework or certification preferred
- Experience with laboratory testing equipment and analytical procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to follow complex protocols and documentation requirements
- Solid understanding of quality assurance principles and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Physical capability to spend extended time on feet and handle laboratory equipment
