About the Role
As Retail Assistant Manager at Maurices, you'll support overall store management while maintaining the high service standards our customers expect. This full-time position offers the opportunity to grow into a leadership role while working hands-on in our Oklahoma City location. You'll balance floor presence, team coaching, and operational responsibilities in a collaborative retail setting.
What You'll Do
- Support daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandise displays, and loss prevention
- Lead and motivate a sales team, providing coaching, feedback, and scheduling support
- Model excellent customer service and assist with customer transactions and inquiries
- Manage opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and point-of-sale responsibilities
- Contribute to achieving sales targets and KPIs through team engagement and floor leadership
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and brand standards
What We're Looking For
- Proven retail or customer service experience, with supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for fashion, customer service, and creating a welcoming store atmosphere
- Reliability, integrity, and a positive work ethic
- Availability for flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends
