About the Role

As Senior Micro Ingredient Buyer at Rangen, you'll lead sourcing and procurement efforts for specialty micro ingredients critical to our product quality and customer success. Based in Elwood, Doniphan County, you'll work within our growing procurement team to support Rangen's expansion across global markets. You'll own vendor partnerships, supply chain strategy, and ingredient sourcing while maintaining the highest standards for quality and regulatory compliance.

What You'll Do

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with suppliers of micro ingredients, specialty additives, and related materials
• Manage vendor relationships and performance, including quality audits and compliance verification
• Analyze market trends, cost drivers, and supply-chain opportunities to optimize purchasing decisions
• Collaborate with operations, product development, and quality assurance teams to meet ingredient specifications and production timelines
• Monitor inventory levels and demand forecasting to ensure consistent supply and cost efficiency
• Maintain detailed records, contracts, and documentation to support compliance and supply chain traceability
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen efficiency and reduce procurement costs

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of procurement, sourcing, or ingredient buyer experience in food, beverage, or manufacturing
• Proven expertise in micro ingredient categories, specialty additives, or equivalent procurement functions
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract administration skills
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, compliance standards, and quality assurance practices
• Proficiency with procurement software platforms and data analysis tools
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Chemistry, or related field (preferred)
