Project Manager

Jobot, a family-owned general contractor established for multiple decades, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Richmond, Contra Costa County. Lead high-impact public works and construction projects while managing budgets, timelines, and teams in a growing company with strong market demand.

About the Role

As Project Manager at Jobot, you'll oversee full lifecycle project delivery for our public works and construction clients. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll drive projects from planning through completion, ensuring quality, safety, and profitability while building relationships with clients and subcontractors.

What You'll Do

• Direct day-to-day project execution, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Monitor project timelines and budgets to maintain profitability and on-time delivery
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure seamless workflow
• Communicate regularly with clients on project status, scope changes, and deliverables
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements
• Manage change orders, contracts, and project documentation
• Identify and resolve issues proactively to keep projects on track

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of project management experience in construction or public works
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, and resource management
• Excellent communication and client management skills
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple stakeholders
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with construction management software and tools preferred
• Ability to work on-site and manage projects in the field
