About the Role
This part-time security position offers meaningful work protecting assets and creating safer environments for our clients across Ogle County. You'll be the eyes and ears on-site, maintaining constant awareness and responding to security concerns with professionalism and sound judgment.
What You'll Do
- Execute security duties according to customized post orders and client specifications
- Maintain heightened situational awareness and monitor all activities on and around the property
- Document and report security incidents, suspicious activity, and safety concerns accurately
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, customers, and local first responders
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and fire departments as needed
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections of assigned areas
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and security breaches
What We're Looking For
- Valid Illinois PERC (Private Employ… Registration Certificate) card, or willingness to obtain certification before employment
- Strong observational and reporting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Professional demeanor and sound judgment in security situations
- Ability to work part-time hours as assigned
- Clean background check and commitment to ethical conduct
