Join the 'Ohana is seeking an experienced Audiologist for our medical readiness services in Starke, Bradford County. This is a part-time position ideal for hearing healthcare professionals looking for flexible, meaningful work supporting the Florida Army National Guard's Medical Readiness Services.
About the Role
As an Audiologist with Join the 'Ohana, you'll provide comprehensive audiological services in a medical readiness environment. This role is part-time and operates primarily on weekends, with occasional weekday availability. You'll be part of a healthcare team committed to maintaining the hearing health and operational readiness of service members throughout Florida.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments and hearing evaluations
- Perform audiometric testing, including pure-tone and speech audiometry
- Assess and manage cerumen impaction and ear canal issues
- Counsel patients on hearing health, hearing aid use, and auditory rehabilitation
- Document findings and maintain detailed patient records
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Support military readiness by ensuring service members meet hearing standards
What We're Looking For
- Current, unrestricted Florida state license as an Audiologist
- Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.) or equivalent
- Strong clinical skills in audiological assessment and patient care
- Experience working in medical or military healthcare settings preferred
- Flexibility to work primarily weekend schedules
- Professional demeanor and commitment to patient-centered care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
