We're seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to lead our meat department with quality craftsmanship. In this full-time role, you'll cut, prepare, and present premium meat selections that reflect our commitment to fresh, high-quality products that customers can trust.

What You'll Do

• Cut, trim, and portion beef, pork, poultry, and specialty meats using precise techniques and industry-standard equipment
• Create visually appealing meat displays that showcase product quality and attract customers
• Maintain rigorous food safety and sanitation standards in all meat handling and preparation
• Operate and safely maintain meat cutting equipment and tools
• Respond to customer inquiries about cuts, portions, and custom meat requests
• Stay informed about food safety regulations and evolving best practices
• Coordinate with team members to ensure efficient daily operations

What We're Looking For

• Experience as a meat cutter, butcher, or in a related meat department role (or willingness to receive comprehensive training)
• Working knowledge of meat cuts, grades, and standard preparation techniques
• Food safety certification or commitment to obtaining one
• Competency with meat cutting equipment and hand tools
• Detail-oriented approach with strong commitment to sanitation and safety
• Customer-focused communication and service mindset
• Physical capability to work standing positions for extended shifts and regularly lift up to 50 pounds
• Dependable, collaborative work ethic
