About the Role
As a Pest Control Technician with Ecolab in Wilkes Barre, you'll be at the front lines of protecting businesses and institutions from pest-related threats. You'll deliver hands-on pest management services to commercial clients throughout Luzerne County, using industry-leading techniques and products to address infestations, prevent future problems, and maintain compliant facilities.
What You'll Do
- Conduct thorough pest inspections and assessments at client facilities
- Apply targeted pest control treatments using approved methods and equipment
- Set traps, baits, and monitoring devices to track pest activity
- Document findings and create detailed service reports for clients
- Educate clients on pest prevention best practices and maintenance
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all regulatory standards
- Build strong client relationships through professional, reliable service
What We're Looking For
- Valid Pest Control Technician license or willingness to obtain one
- Knowledge of pest biology, behavior, and control methods
- Ability to safely handle pesticides and follow application protocols
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel to multiple job sites
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Physical capability to perform field work and lift equipment
