VIP Auto is seeking a Manager in Training to join our Mexico, Oxford County automotive dealership team. This full-time position offers a structured pathway into dealership management, combining hands-on mentorship from experienced leaders with comprehensive training in all aspects of automotive retail operations.
About the Role
The Manager in Training program is designed for motivated individuals ready to develop into dealership leadership positions. You'll work closely with your District Manager and Market Manager mentors to master the strategies, systems, and customer-centered approach that drive VIP Auto's success. This is more than a job—it's an intensive development program that prepares you for management responsibility.
What You'll Do
- Learn VIP Auto's operational systems, management philosophies, and best practices through direct mentorship
- Support managers in daily dealership operations including scheduling, customer service, and team coordination
- Develop expertise in sales analysis, performance metrics, and customer satisfaction measurement
- Participate in customer interactions to understand dealership service delivery from multiple angles
- Assist with inventory management, pricing strategies, and merchandising initiatives
- Take on progressively greater responsibilities as you demonstrate competency and readiness
- Embody VIP Auto's customer-first values in every team and customer interaction
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly learn complex dealership operations and processes
